Never-Never Town
Otogi no Kuni would be the japanese name for Never-Never Land. Otogi being the first part of the word Otogibanashi which means fairy-tale.
Rena's tale takes place in Otogi no Machi. If we disregard the kanji and focus on their pronunciation, the title of Otogi no Machi no Rena can mean Rena from Never-Never Town.
I just thought it was kind of interesting so I figured I'd share it.

Rena chapter 29 release

Also looks to be our smallest file size yet. This is what happens when I'm not the one doing the editing. Well, maybe not the file size, but the speed, for sure. And oh look, I figured out how to make the sample page show up bigger here again.... now I'm not sure if it got smaller before because we changed the way we were saving the images or I just somehow managed to change the setting when uploading it here. Where am I and what is this? I somehow get the feeling my confusion will amuse the other guys..
I think our new target will be to release a chapter once a month, therefore I will only be doing status updates when it's been more than that amount of time... and if I remember.
Oh, Platypus might be posting later with a bit of etymology.. er, translation.. er, something kinda interesting. At any rate, enjoy the new chapter, and listen to this on repeat while you read it. No really, do that last part, you won't regret it, particularly because I know you're all perverts. :3

Well, I told you I'd leave the credit page image bubbles blank if no one gave me any ideas, and I didn't receive any, so there you have it. At any rate, sorry this took longer than I said it would. I was busy with work and then got sick. Just be glad I'm not as slow as the rest of my family when I give time estimates like that, or this would have taken another week and a half. As I said before, we probably won't be working on the next chapter until January, as we're all very busy this month. I think that's about it. Enjoy this chapter! Poor, poor Rena..

Chapter 28 update
So I kind of forgot I was supposed to be doing status updates. That's what I get for spending too much time fapping at work. This chapter has been delayed partly cause we're lazy motherfuckers (particularly me), and partly because of a misunderstanding based on a lack of communication which was completely my fault. So my humble apologies for that. At any rate, I will try to have it up within 72 hours, but my work schedule is kind of crazy today / tomorrow, so it might take slightly longer.
Chapter 29 also won't be coming until sometime in January because we're all pretty busy in December.However, I think from now on Xero and I will be cleaning raws for chapters ahead of time, so that should in theory speed up the release time slightly. Not sure why we haven't been doing that the whole time. Okay, in all fairness I think Xero has already been doing that a bit. I guess I just haven't. That will change.
As always, comments help to motivate me to finish faster, so gimmee some! They're like... cookies. Or something.

So from now on on non-release posts I will be typing whatever I feel like typing down here at the bottom. Why? Because I can.
Therefore, I give you an awesome (relatively) new song from BMTH. Yes, I'm a metalfag, deal with it. Comments disparaging metalcore, metal in general, or BMTH will not be looked upon kindly and will automatically delay the release of chapter 28 by 24 hours. <3
I also would like you to know that I can now say I have been chased down the street by a drunk gay guy in the middle of the night. Said drunk gay guy may or may not have also fallen over and broken our standup heater in half and put his hand through a pane of glass last night. Good times. That is all.
