Just wanted to let you guys know that I am actually working on the chapter and it will be up eventually, probably as a double release with chapter 43. I've been travelling across the US (already driven 3400+ miles) over the last two weeks and have a couple more weeks to go, and it's been harder to keep up with editing on the road than I thought it would be. Thank you for your patience.

Ch 42 status update
Truth be told, I haven't even started on 42 yet. Life has been kind of getting in the way. However, it WILL be out in the next 10 days, as today was my last day at work (I quit), and I'm leaving on mah cross-country trip at that time. 42 will most likely be followed fairly closely by 43 and possibly 44. Thanks for your patience.

PS: For anyone on the east coast of the US, how did you fair with Irene? We seemed to have gotten pretty lucky here in DE, though we spent a large amount of time preparing for it..

Well I somehow managed to overflow a toilet, doing yet more damage to my house.... on the plus side, that made me stay home all day instead of wondering off somewhere else, so I managed to get this chapter done quicker. Sigh...
Also, I think chapter 40 will be out soon (like in the next few days), so check back frequently. :D

Otogi no Machi no Rena Chapter 38
This is my first time posting something on the blog, so we'll see how it goes...
I finished cleaning/typesetting chapter 38 earlier tonight, so here it is for you all to enjoy.

In other news, Noncomplatypus is just about finished translating the rest of the series, so releases just depend on our ability to clean and typeset chapters fast enough - which might not be the best thing. I believe our next series has also been chosen, but I'll let Z or Noncomplatypus fill everyone in on that when they feel it appropriate to do so.
I'm also feeling pretty proud of myself for re-drawing another two-page spread gap; but at the same, Hattori Mitsuru's constant placement of text directly over images may have finally driven me mad.
